The selection of roof tiles mainly needs to consider factors such as material, durability, aesthetics, maintenance cost and environmental protection. The following are several common roof tiles and their characteristics:

Colored stone metal tiles: Colored stone metal tiles use corrosion-resistant aluminum-zinc steel plates as substrates, and the surface is covered with acrylic emulsion and colored sand adhesives. They are lightweight, wind-resistant, flame-retardant, sound-proof, heat-insulating, and corrosion-resistant, with a service life of up to 30-50 years. It provides a variety of color and texture options, suitable for modern architectural styles, and is easy to install and has low maintenance costs.

Cement tiles: Cement tiles are made of cement, sand and pigments through factory processing, and have the advantages of stable joints, strong leak-proof function and good durability. However, they have a heavy weight, high requirements for roof structure, and a relatively single color.

Glazed tiles: Glazed tiles are made of high-quality ore raw materials, and are formed under high pressure and fired at high temperature. They have the characteristics of elegant colors, high strength and good waterproofness. However, they are expensive, easy to break, and need to be carefully cared for.

‌Resin tile‌: Resin tile is made of synthetic resin, with the characteristics of lightness, good toughness, sound insulation, waterproof, and impact resistance. However, its weather resistance is poor and it is easy to fade and age.

‌Clay tile‌: Clay tile uses clay as the main raw material and is made by high-temperature firing. It has the characteristics of hardness, durability, waterproofness, and fireproofing. However, it is heavy, requires a solid roof structure to support it, and is difficult to install.
